How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply before removing hoses.
- Adjust detergent use: Use HE detergent and follow GE's recommended amounts. Reduce quantity for soft water.
- Clean inlet screens: Disconnect hot and cold hoses from the washer and clean the small screens in the GE inlet valve.
- Check water pressure: Ensure both hot and cold faucets are fully open and supply adequate flow.
- Verify drain hose height: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height per the manual to prevent siphoning.
