Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close the water supply taps before removing any hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps feeding the Gorenje washer are fully open and that household water pressure is normal.
- Inspect inlet hoses: Turn off taps, disconnect hoses from the rear of the washer, and check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Straighten or replace if damaged.
- Clean inlet filters: At the connection points on the Gorenje inlet valve, remove the small mesh filters with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
- Check for leaks at valve: With hoses reconnected, open taps and look for leaks at the water inlet valve assembly.
- Advanced check (for skilled users): With power disconnected, access the top panel, locate the water inlet valve, and test coil resistance with a multimeter. If open-circuit or out of spec, replace the valve assembly.
If F1 persists after confirming water supply and cleaning filters, the inlet valve or pressure switch may need replacement by a qualified technician.
