Possible Causes
Partial blockage in drain pump, Clogged sump hose from tub to pump, Obstructed standpipe or household drain, Weak drain pump motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and prepare for water drainage.
- Clean pump filter thoroughly: Open the lower access flap on the Gorenje washer, remove the filter, and clean all lint, hair, and debris. Check deep inside the pump cavity for socks or small garments.
- Inspect sump hose: From the front bottom or rear (depending on model), locate the large black hose from the tub to the pump. Remove the clamp and inspect for coins, bra wires, or buildup. Clean and reinstall securely.
- Check external drain: Ensure the household standpipe or sink is not blocked. Run water from a tap into the drain to confirm free flow.
- Test pump performance: Run a drain-only program. If the pump is noisy, intermittent, or weak, replace the pump.
If F10 continues after all blockages are cleared, the pump or control board may be failing and should be checked by a technician.
