How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the control console.
- Dry the panel: If the Gorenje washer was exposed to steam or water spills, allow the control panel to dry completely for several hours.
- Inspect UI connections: Remove the control panel and check the ribbon cables and connectors for corrosion or loose fit. Reseat all connectors.
- Check buttons and knob: Ensure no buttons are stuck in the pressed position and that the program selector knob turns smoothly.
- Visual board check: Look for burnt tracks or components on the display PCB.
If F12 remains after reseating connectors and drying, the user interface board may need replacement.
