Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Loose NTC connector, Damaged wiring harness to NTC, Scale buildup affecting sensor contact
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and ensure water is cool.
- Access NTC: Remove the rear panel of the Gorenje washer. The NTC sensor is usually clipped into the heater bracket on the tub.
- Check connection: Ensure the NTC plug is firmly connected and free of corrosion.
- Test resistance: With a multimeter, measure NTC resistance at room temperature. If reading is near 0 Ω (short) or infinite (open), replace the sensor.
- Descale if needed: Heavy limescale on the heater area can insulate the sensor. Consider descaling the machine with a suitable descaler.
If F14 persists with a new NTC and good wiring, the control board temperature circuit may be defective.
