Possible Causes
Blocked pressure hose, Faulty water level pressure switch, Wiring issue between pressure switch and control module, Over-foaming from excessive detergent
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer before removing any panels.
- Check detergent use: Make sure you are using HE (high-efficiency) detergent and not exceeding the recommended dose. Over-foaming can confuse the pressure sensor.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover of the Gorenje washer (usually 2–3 screws at the back). Locate the small rubber hose running from the bottom of the tub/air chamber to the pressure switch. Check for kinks, blockages, or splits. Blow gently through the hose to clear any soap residue.
- Check pressure switch connection: Ensure the electrical connector on the pressure switch is firmly seated and free of corrosion.
- Visual check of air chamber: At the tub end of the hose, inspect the plastic air chamber for heavy soap scum or lint buildup; clean if accessible.
If F2 remains, the pressure switch or main control module may be defective and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
