Possible Causes
Leak from door gasket, Leak from drain pump or hoses, Cracked tub or tub seal, Activated float switch in base tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply. Be prepared for water spillage.
- Check base tray: Carefully tilt the Gorenje washer slightly backward and look underneath for water in the base tray. If present, a float switch may have triggered F9.
- Dry the base: Mop up water from the base tray using towels or a sponge. Allow the area to dry completely.
- Inspect for visible leaks: Run a short fill cycle while observing the door gasket, detergent drawer area, drain pump, and hoses. Look for drips or sprays.
- Check door gasket: Examine the rubber bellows for tears, holes, or mold damage. Replace if compromised.
- Inspect pump and hoses: Check clamps and hose connections at the pump and tub for looseness or cracks.
Once the leak source is identified, replace the faulty component. If the tub or main seal is leaking, contact a professional technician.
