If you are not confident in your ability to perform this repair safely, we strongly recommend contacting a professional technician.
Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Immediate action: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply. Mop up any visible water around the machine.
- Inspect door seal: Check the rubber gasket for tears, holes, or foreign objects. Clean and dry it thoroughly.
- Check hoses and pump: Remove the rear or bottom panel. Look for water trails around the drain pump, sump hose, and inlet hoses. Tighten clamps and replace cracked hoses.
- Base tray float switch: On Gram models with leak protection, a float switch in the base tray triggers E13. Carefully tilt the machine slightly (with help) to drain any trapped water from the base, then identify and fix the source of the leak.
- Test after drying: Once all leaks are addressed and the base is dry, reconnect power and run a short cycle while monitoring for drips.
Warning: Do not ignore leaks; they can damage flooring and electrical components. If the tub or main seal is cracked, contact a professional for repair or tub replacement.
