Washer door will not unlock at the end of the cycle

Initial steps:

• Wait a few minutes: Many Gram washers delay unlocking for 1–2 minutes after spin for safety.
• Check for water: If water is visible in the drum, run a drain or spin program. If the machine will not start, manually drain via the pump filter.

Manual release:

• Unplug the washer. Access the door lock area from the front (by pulling back the gasket) or from the top, and use the manual release tab or lever (if provided) to open the door.

If the lock frequently fails to release, replace the door lock assembly and check the pressure switch for correct operation.
