Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Faulty drive motor, Seized drum bearings, Motor wiring fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer.
- Check drum movement: Try turning the drum by hand. If it is completely stuck, bearings or a foreign object may be jamming it.
- Inspect belt: Remove the rear panel and check if the belt is still on the motor and drum pulleys. Refit or replace if broken or off.
- Motor test: If the belt is intact and the drum turns freely by hand, the motor may be faulty. Check the motor connector and look for burn marks. Motor testing and replacement may require a technician.
