How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before attempting to remove foreign objects.
- 1. Inspect drum holes: Shine a torch inside the drum and slowly rotate it. Look for wires or objects protruding from the holes.
- 2. Check door seal area: Look between the drum edge and door seal for trapped items.
- 3. Access via heater: If the object is between drum and tub, remove the heater (after disconnecting power and noting wiring) and use a grabber tool to retrieve the item.
- 4. Access via sump hose: Alternatively, remove the sump hose from the tub and feel for objects at the bottom of the tub.
- 5. Avoid forcing drum: Do not continue to run the machine until the object is removed to prevent damage.
