Buttons unresponsive or random program selection; display may freeze; F06 shown on some models.

Safety: Disconnect the appliance from the mains before removing the top or control panel.

F06 indicates a problem with the user interface or its communication with the main board.

• Power reset: Unplug for 10–15 minutes to discharge capacitors, then reconnect and test. Sometimes transient faults clear.
• Check for moisture: Inspect the front control fascia for signs of condensation or detergent spills. Dry thoroughly and avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the panel.
• Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the top cover and gently pull the control panel forward. Locate the flat ribbon cable between the UI and main PCB. Reseat both ends, ensuring they are fully inserted and not oxidized or damaged.
• Look for damage: Examine the UI board for cracked solder joints at buttons or rotary encoder, and for burnt components. If buttons feel stuck or do not click, the panel may need replacement.

If reseating cables and drying the panel does not resolve F06, the UI board or main PCB is likely defective. Replacement of electronic boards is best handled by a qualified technician due to ESD and wiring risks.
