Washer does not take fabric softener from the drawer; softener remains in compartment after cycle.

Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off water before removing the drawer.

• Clean drawer: Remove the detergent drawer and take off the softener siphon cap (usually a plastic insert). Clean thoroughly to remove residue.
• Clean jets: Use a small brush or toothpick to clear the water jets above the softener compartment in the dispenser housing.
• Reassemble correctly: Ensure the siphon cap is refitted properly; if missing or incorrectly fitted, the softener will not siphon out.
• Check water pressure: Low pressure can prevent proper flushing of the compartment. Ensure inlet filters are clean.
