Washer leaves clothes covered in detergent residue or white streaks after wash.

Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off water before removing the detergent drawer for cleaning.

• Clean detergent drawer: Pull out the drawer, press the release tab, and remove it. Wash thoroughly under hot water, removing any caked detergent or softener.
• Clean dispenser housing: Use a small brush to clean the water jets and channels in the dispenser housing.
• Adjust detergent: Use the amount recommended for your water hardness and load size. Overdosing causes residue.
• Run maintenance wash: Run an empty hot cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar to clear internal residues.
