Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filters, Defective water inlet valve, Low or no water supply pressure, Wiring issue to inlet valve or faulty main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close both hot and cold water supply valves.
Steps to check and correct:
- Verify water supply: Ensure the building water supply to the IPSO washer is open and has adequate pressure. Check that upstream shutoff valves are fully open.
- Inspect inlet hoses: Disconnect the hoses from the rear of the washer and check for kinks, internal collapse, or debris. Flush hoses into a bucket to confirm good flow.
- Clean inlet screens: At the water inlet valve ports on the washer, remove and clean the small mesh filters. Sediment buildup is common in commercial installations.
- Test the inlet valve coils: With the washer unplugged, remove the top or rear panel to access the water inlet valve. Use a multimeter to check coil resistance against IPSO specifications. An open or shorted coil indicates a bad valve.
- Check wiring harness: Confirm the connector to the inlet valve is tight and that no wires are pinched or burnt.
- Reassemble and test: Reconnect hoses, open water valves, restore power, and run a fill test. If E02 returns and water pressure is confirmed good, replace the water inlet valve assembly.
