Possible Causes

Incorrect pressure switch type installed, Pressure hose leak or disconnection, Defective pressure switch, Control board miscalibration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water valves before accessing internal components.

Steps to check and correct:

  • Verify correct part: If the pressure switch was recently replaced, confirm that the IPSO part number matches the original. Using the wrong switch can cause E11.
  • Inspect pressure hose and air dome: Ensure the hose is firmly attached at both the tub/air dome and the switch. Check for pinholes, splits, or loose clamps that would cause air leaks.
  • Check for blockages: Remove the hose and blow through it to confirm it is clear. Clean any soap or lint buildup in the air dome connection on the tub.
  • Test the switch: Use a multimeter to verify that the switch changes contacts at the correct pressure levels per IPSO service data.
  • Control reset: After corrections, perform a control reset (power off for several minutes) and run a test cycle. If E11 persists with a known-good switch and hose, the control board may require replacement or reprogramming.
