Door Open Detection Error
Washer displays E14; cycle may not start or may stop unexpectedly

Possible Causes
Door switch not sensing closed position, Misaligned door hinge, Damaged door strike, Faulty door lock sensor contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before adjusting hinges or accessing the door lock.
Steps to check and correct:
- Check door alignment: Close the door and observe gaps around the seal. If the door sags or does not align with the lock opening, adjust or tighten the hinge screws.
- Inspect door strike: Examine the door strike (latch hook) for wear or breakage. Replace if deformed or loose.
- Test door lock contacts: Access the door lock assembly and test the door-closed sensing contacts with a multimeter while manually engaging the latch. If the contacts do not change state, replace the lock.
- Check wiring: Ensure the harness from the door lock to the control board is intact and firmly connected.
- Re-test: After adjustments or part replacement, run a test cycle and confirm that E14 no longer appears and that the door locks reliably.
