Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board, Faulty user interface PCB, Moisture ingress into control panel, Main control board communication failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the control panel or console.

Steps to check and correct:

  • Remove control panel: Access the user interface by removing screws or clips at the top/front of the IPSO washer.
  • Inspect ribbon cable: Disconnect and reseat the flat ribbon cable between the UI and main board. Ensure it is fully inserted and not damaged.
  • Check for moisture: Look for condensation or detergent residue inside the panel. Dry thoroughly and correct any dispenser leaks that may be dripping onto the electronics.
  • Test buttons: With the panel open (and power disconnected), press each button and feel for proper tactile response. Stuck or damaged buttons may require UI replacement.
  • Reassemble and test: Restore power and test all functions. If E15 persists and the ribbon is good, replace the user interface PCB. If still unresolved, the main control board may be at fault.
