Washer takes much longer than expected to complete cycles

Safety first: Unplug the washer before internal checks. Some checks (water pressure) are external and can be done with power off.

Steps to check and correct:

• Check water pressure: Ensure supply valves are fully open and inlet filters are clean. Low pressure causes long fill times.
• Verify heating: On hot cycles, feel the door glass after several minutes; it should warm up. If not, test the heater and NTC as described in heating faults.
• Check drain performance: Ensure the pump and hose are not partially blocked, causing slow drains.
• Observe spin behavior: If the machine repeatedly tries to balance the load, advise users to avoid single heavy items and to mix large and small garments.
