Washer vibrates excessively and walks across the floor during spin

Possible Causes
Shipping bolts not removed, Worn shock absorbers, Weak or broken suspension springs, Uneven floor or improper leveling
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before tipping or adjusting feet.
Steps to check and correct:
- Verify shipping bolts: On newly installed IPSO washers, ensure all rear shipping bolts and transit brackets have been removed according to the installation manual.
- Level the machine: Adjust the leveling feet so the washer is stable and does not rock. Use a spirit level on top of the cabinet.
- Inspect suspension: Check shocks and springs for wear as described in the banging noise fault.
- Check floor: Ensure the floor is solid and not flexing. For weak floors, consider adding a reinforcement platform.
- Test with proper load: Run a spin with a balanced, medium-size load. If vibration persists despite good suspension and leveling, further inspection of the tub assembly is required.
