Possible Causes

Shipping bolts not removed, Worn shock absorbers, Weak or broken suspension springs, Uneven floor or improper leveling

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer before tipping or adjusting feet.

Steps to check and correct:

  • Verify shipping bolts: On newly installed IPSO washers, ensure all rear shipping bolts and transit brackets have been removed according to the installation manual.
  • Level the machine: Adjust the leveling feet so the washer is stable and does not rock. Use a spirit level on top of the cabinet.
  • Inspect suspension: Check shocks and springs for wear as described in the banging noise fault.
  • Check floor: Ensure the floor is solid and not flexing. For weak floors, consider adding a reinforcement platform.
  • Test with proper load: Run a spin with a balanced, medium-size load. If vibration persists despite good suspension and leveling, further inspection of the tub assembly is required.
