Possible Causes

Defective door lock mechanism, Broken door handle or latch, Control board not sending unlock signal, Wiring fault to door lock

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer. Do not force the door open with tools, as this can shatter the glass.

  • Wait a few minutes: Some Little Swan models delay unlocking after spin. Wait 2–5 minutes to see if the lock releases.
  • Use emergency release (if equipped): Open the lower front access panel and look for a manual release tab or cord near the door lock. Pull gently to mechanically unlock the door.
  • Inspect door lock assembly: Remove the front gasket clamp and pull back the door seal to access the lock. Check for loose wiring and physical damage. Replace the lock if it is burnt, cracked, or rattles internally.
  • Check handle and latch: Ensure the door handle mechanism moves freely and the latch hook is not bent or broken. Replace damaged parts.

If the lock and latch are good but E11 continues, the main PCB may not be energizing the unlock coil and should be tested by a technician.
