How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer. Motor and PCB work should be done by experienced persons.
- Check drum movement: Rotate the drum by hand. If it is seized or very stiff, investigate for foreign objects or bearing failure before testing electronics.
- Inspect motor and wiring: Remove the rear panel, check the motor connector and harness for burn marks or melted insulation. Repair or replace as needed.
- Test motor windings: Measure resistance between motor phases and to ground. Replace the motor if windings are shorted or open.
- PCB inspection: Examine the main PCB for burnt areas near the motor triac or inverter section. Replace the board if damaged.
