Possible Causes
Blocked or leaking pressure hose, Faulty water level sensor, Loose wiring to pressure sensor, Air chamber on tub clogged with detergent residue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the top cover or handling wiring.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top panel to access the water level sensor. Follow the thin hose from the sensor to the tub. Check for kinks, cracks, or disconnections. Reattach securely and replace if brittle or damaged.
- Clean air chamber: At the tub connection, detergent and lint can clog the air chamber. Remove the hose and gently clean the port with a small brush or pipe cleaner to restore clear airflow.
- Check sensor wiring: Ensure the electrical connector on the pressure sensor is firmly seated and free of corrosion.
- Replace sensor if needed: If the hose and chamber are clear but E7 persists, replace the water level sensor with a compatible Little Swan part, transferring the hose and connector to the new unit.
