Possible Causes
Stuck-open water inlet valve, Blocked pressure hose causing false low level, Faulty water level sensor, Main PCB not shutting off valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately unplug the washer and close the water supply faucets if you see E9 with rising water level.
- Check if water continues to flow when unplugged: If water still enters the tub with power off, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
- Inspect pressure hose and sensor: Remove the top cover and verify the pressure hose is intact and connected. Clean any blockage at the tub air chamber and ensure the hose is not pinched.
- Examine control board and wiring: If water stops when unplugged but E9 persists, inspect wiring between the pressure sensor, inlet valve, and main PCB for damage. Replace any burnt or broken connectors.
- Test and replace components: Replace the water level sensor if it does not change resistance with water level. If both valve and sensor test good, the main PCB may be faulty and require professional replacement.
