• Access pressure switch: Remove the top panel. Locate the small round or rectangular pressure switch with a thin rubber hose attached, usually mounted on the side or top frame.
• Inspect pressure hose: Follow the hose from the switch down to the tub/air dome. Check for kinks, pinches, or cracks. Remove the hose from the switch and blow gently through it to clear any blockage.
• Check for water in hose: If water is present in the hose, drain it and ensure the air dome on the tub is not clogged with detergent residue.
• Inspect wiring: Verify the electrical connector on the pressure switch is secure and free of corrosion.
• Replace pressure switch: If the hose and wiring are good but F08 persists, replace the water level pressure switch with the correct Maytag part for your model.
