Possible Causes
Defective hot water inlet valve coil, Blocked hot water filter screen, Incorrect hose connection, Wiring fault to hot valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the hot water tap.
- Verify hose connections: Ensure the hot hose is connected to the hot tap and not reversed with cold. Check for kinks.
- Clean filters: Remove the hot inlet hose and rinse the mesh filter screens in the hose and valve body.
- Inspect valve and wiring: Remove the top cover to access the inlet valve assembly. Check the hot valve connector is secure and wiring is intact.
- Test: Reassemble, restore power, and run a hot wash. If F13 returns, the hot valve coil is likely defective and the valve assembly should be replaced.
