Possible Causes
Partially failed heater element, Scaled heater reducing efficiency, Faulty NTC sensor reading, Low supply voltage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before internal inspection.
- Check water temperature: During a 60°C cycle, feel the door glass after 20–30 minutes. If only lukewarm, heating is slow.
- Descale: Run a descaling program with a Miele-approved descaler to remove limescale from the heater.
- Inspect heater wiring: Access the heater terminals and ensure all connectors are tight and free of corrosion.
- If F19 persists: The heater or NTC may be out of specification and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
