• Clean door seal: Wipe the seal thoroughly with a cloth and a mild bleach solution or dedicated washing machine cleaner, paying attention to folds.
• Run maintenance wash: Run an empty 90–95°C cotton cycle with a machine cleaner or a small amount of bleach (if permitted by Miele guidelines).
• Leave door open: After each wash, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow drying.
• Adjust usage: Include regular hot washes and use the correct amount of detergent.
