Safety first: Unplug the washer and prepare for water spillage.

• Clean pump filter and impeller: Open the service flap, drain water, remove filter, and check the impeller for coins, hair, or lint.
• Check hose routing: Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or crushed behind the machine.
• Flush hose: Remove the hose from the standpipe and flush with water to clear partial blockages.
• If problem recurs: The pump may be overheating and stopping; replacement of the drain pump is recommended.
