Washer will not start; display shows E01 immediately after pressing start, door does not lock.

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close the water supply taps before any work. Never work on the door lock with power applied.

• Check door closure: Make sure the door is fully closed and the latch hook engages firmly. Inspect the latch hook on the door for bending or damage.
• Inspect door gasket and hinge: A sagging door or twisted hinge can prevent the lock from engaging. Lift the door gently; if there is excessive play, the hinge may need adjustment or replacement.
• Access the door lock: Remove the front panel or the door seal clamp (depending on Primus model) to reach the door interlock. Note wire positions or take a photo.
• Check wiring: Inspect the wiring harness from the door lock to the main control PCB for burns, cuts, or loose connectors. Reseat all plugs firmly.
• Test the door lock: Using a multimeter (with power disconnected), check continuity across the lock terminals when the lock is manually actuated. If open or inconsistent, replace the door lock interlock assembly.
• Reassemble and test: Refit the lock, reconnect wiring, reinstall the seal/front panel, restore power, and run a test cycle to confirm the error is cleared.
