Possible Causes
Open-circuit inlet valve coil, Shorted inlet valve coil, Disconnected inlet valve wiring, Faulty control PCB inlet triac/relay
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps before working on the inlet valve.
- Access inlet valve: Remove the top panel to reach the water inlet valve assembly at the rear.
- Check wiring: Ensure all valve connectors are firmly seated. Look for burnt or loose terminals.
- Measure coil resistance: With a multimeter, test each valve coil. A reading of infinite (open) or near zero (short) indicates a defective coil.
- Replace valve assembly: If any coil is faulty, replace the entire inlet valve assembly. Transfer hoses and clamps one at a time to avoid misconnection.
- Control check: If the valve tests good but E10 persists, the main control PCB may not be sending power to the valve and should be checked by a qualified technician.
