Washer stops and displays E15; drum may be stationary while pump runs intermittently.

Possible Causes

Siphoning due to incorrect drain hose installation, Blocked air break or vent, Faulty pressure sensor misreading level, Control PCB logic error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer before adjusting hoses.

  • Check drain hose height: Ensure the drain hose is installed at the correct height specified by Primus (typically 60–100 cm above floor). If too low, water can siphon out, confusing the level system.
  • Secure hose: Make sure the hose is firmly hooked into the standpipe or sink and not sealed airtight (allow air gap to prevent siphoning).
  • Inspect air break/vent: If your Primus model has an external air break, check for blockages or kinks.
  • Pressure sensor check: As in E08, inspect the pressure hose and sensor for blockages or damage.
  • Test cycle: After correcting installation and checking components, run a rinse and spin cycle to verify that E15 does not reoccur.
