Possible Causes
Broken drive belt, Belt slipped off pulleys due to overload, Worn belt losing tension, Misaligned drum or motor pulley
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing the rear panel.
- Inspect belt: Remove the rear panel and check if the belt is still on the motor and drum pulleys. If missing or broken, retrieve any fragments.
- Check pulleys and drum: Ensure the drum turns freely by hand and the pulleys are secure.
- Fit new belt: Install a new Primus-specified drive belt, placing it around the motor pulley first and then rolling it onto the drum pulley while turning the drum.
- Test operation: Refit the rear panel, restore power, and run a wash cycle to confirm drum rotation.
