Frequent low-temperature washes, Residual detergent and softener in tub and hoses, Mold growth on door seal, Clogged drain system harboring bacteria

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer before cleaning internal parts.

  • Clean door seal: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent. Remove visible mold and residue.
  • Run hot maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar (check Primus guidelines) to kill bacteria and dissolve buildup.
  • Clean dispenser drawer: Remove and scrub the detergent drawer and housing to remove slime and mold.
  • Leave door open: After each wash, leave the door and dispenser slightly open to allow drying and prevent mold growth.
