How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety First: Unplug the washer before working on the console.

  • Step 1 – Identify stuck key: Some models will show which key is stuck. Note the key name if displayed.
  • Step 2 – Clean around buttons: Wipe the console surface with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Do not flood the console with liquid.
  • Step 3 – Inspect console internally: Remove the console and check for moisture, detergent residue, or foreign objects pressing on the button area. Clean and dry as needed.
  • Step 4 – Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the UI ribbon cable to the main control to clear minor contact issues.
