Possible Causes
Internal leak from hoses or tub, Loose hose clamp, Cracked tub or pump housing, Over-sudsing causing foam overflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply. Water in the base can contact electrical components.
- Step 1 – Tilt washer slightly: Carefully tilt the washer to drain any water from the base pan (have towels ready). This may temporarily clear the switch.
- Step 2 – Inspect for leaks: Remove the rear or front lower panel and look for water trails around the tub, pump, hoses, and inlet valves. Tighten hose clamps and replace cracked components.
- Step 3 – Check for oversuds: If you see foam residue, reduce detergent usage and ensure HE detergent is used.
Do not ignore this code; find and repair the leak source before resuming normal use.
