Possible Causes

Clogged inlet mesh filters at water valves, Partially closed or kinked inlet hoses, Failed Samsung water inlet valve assembly, Low household water pressure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off both hot and cold water supply valves before working on hoses or valves.

  • Check water supply: Verify both wall faucets are fully open and that other fixtures in the home have normal pressure.
  • Inspect hoses: Pull the washer forward, ensure inlet hoses are not kinked, crushed, or leaking. Straighten or replace as needed.
  • Clean inlet filters: Turn off water, disconnect hoses from the back of the washer. Inside the water inlets you will see small mesh screens. Gently pull them out with needle-nose pliers and rinse under running water to remove sediment. Reinstall screens and reconnect hoses firmly.
  • Test fill: Restore water and power, run a quick wash to see if filling improves.
  • If still failing: The internal water inlet valve assembly may be defective. This requires removing the top cover, disconnecting wiring and hoses, and installing a new Samsung-compatible valve. If you are not comfortable with plumbing and electrical work, contact a technician.
