Possible Causes
Leak detected in base tray (models with leak sensor), Loose tub-to-pump hose clamp, Cracked drain hose, Faulty leak sensor or float switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply. Be prepared for water spills.
- Check for visible leaks: Look around and under the washer for water. Remove the lower front panel or rear panel (model dependent) to inspect the base.
- Inspect hoses: Examine the tub-to-pump hose, drain hose, and inlet hoses for cracks, loose clamps, or pinholes. Tighten clamps or replace damaged hoses.
- Empty base tray: If your model has a leak tray with a float or sensor, dry all water from the tray and check the float switch for free movement.
- Test again: After repairs and drying, run a short cycle while monitoring for leaks.
- Persistent LE: If no leaks are found, the leak sensor/float switch or main PCB may be faulty and should be tested or replaced by a technician.
