Possible Causes
Blocked air dome or pressure hose, Faulty water level pressure sensor, Control board misreading level, Over-sudsing from non-HE detergent
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer before removing any covers.
- Check for oversuds: If there are excessive suds, run a rinse and spin with no detergent. Use only HE detergent in small amounts.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the small rubber hose running from the tub air dome to the water level sensor. Ensure it is not kinked, cracked, or clogged with soap residue. Detach and blow through it to clear blockages.
- Clean air dome: Where the hose connects to the tub, check for buildup. Clean carefully to restore proper air passage.
- Sensor replacement: If hose and dome are clear but OE persists, replace the water level pressure sensor by disconnecting its connector and hose and installing a new Samsung sensor.
