Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the top or control panel.
Steps to check and address E10:
- Power reset: Unplug the washer for 10–15 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge, then reconnect and try again.
- Inspect control connections: Remove the top cover and, if necessary, the front control fascia. Check ribbon cables and connectors between the display/control panel and main PCB. Reseat all plugs firmly.
- Look for moisture: Check for signs of water ingress around the control panel or top of the machine. Dry any moisture and address leaks from the detergent drawer or hoses.
When to call a technician: If E10 persists after reseating connectors, one of the control boards is likely defective and should be tested and replaced by a Siemens technician.
