Washer causes excessive vibration or movement even when apparently level

Safety first: Do not allow the washer to walk across the floor; stop and unplug if movement is severe.

Steps to stabilize the washer:

• Re-level and lock feet: Adjust all four feet so the washer is stable, then lock the adjustment nuts against the base.
• Add anti-vibration pads: Place quality rubber pads under the feet to reduce transmission of vibration.
• Reduce spin speed: For very light floors, select a lower spin speed in the program options.

When to call a technician: If vibration persists despite proper installation, internal suspension components may be worn and should be inspected.
