Washer alternates between dL and dU and will not start or complete cycle.

Safety: Unplug the washer before touching internal components.

• 1. Power reset: Unplug the washer for 5 minutes to reset the control. Plug back in and try a new cycle. If the error returns, continue.
• 2. Inspect lid lock harness: Access the lid lock and gently tug on the harness while watching for loose pins or intermittent contact. Reseat the connector firmly.
• 3. Check for moisture: Look for signs of water intrusion around the lid lock and console. Dry any moisture and correct any leaks from the dispenser or lid gasket.
• 4. Replace lid lock: If the error persists and the lock shows intermittent operation, replace the lid lock assembly.
• 5. Control board diagnosis: If a new lock and good wiring do not resolve the issue, the main control board may have a failing driver circuit. Board replacement is typically a level-4/5 repair and may be best handled by a Speed Queen technician.
