Possible Causes
Intermittent pump motor, Loose pump connector, Faulty main PCB sensing circuit, Moisture on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and avoid touching any wet electrical parts.
- Check for moisture: Inspect the area around the pump and control board for signs of leaks or condensation. Dry any moisture and fix leaks (e.g., from door seal or hoses) before proceeding.
- Secure connectors: Reseat the pump connector and the corresponding connector on the main PCB. Ensure pins are not corroded or bent.
- Test pump under load: Run a drain cycle and gently tap the pump housing. If operation cuts in and out, the pump is failing internally and should be replaced.
If E24 recurs with a new pump and dry, secure connections, the main control board is likely defective and should be replaced by a service professional.
