Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Check base tray: Carefully pull the machine forward and tilt it slightly backward to see if water drains from the base. If water is present, the anti-flood float switch has been triggered.
- Dry the base: Remove the rear or bottom panel (depending on model) and soak up all water from the base tray with towels or a sponge. Allow the area to dry completely.
- Locate the leak: Inspect the door seal (bellow) for tears, the tub-to-pump hose for splits, and all hose clamps for looseness. Also check the detergent dispenser and its connecting hose for cracks or overflow marks.
- Repair or replace leaking parts: Tighten hose clamps, replace damaged hoses, and fit a new door seal if torn. Ensure the inlet valve and dispenser are not dripping when the machine is off.
After repairs and drying, reset the machine by unplugging for several minutes, then test a short cycle while monitoring for leaks. If E30 returns with no visible leaks, the float switch or control board may be faulty and require professional diagnosis.
