Possible Causes
Incorrect signal combination from pressure switches, Faulty dual-level pressure switch, Wiring fault between pressure switch and PCB, Defective main PCB logic
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and ensure the drum is empty of hot water before working.
- Identify pressure switches: Some Zanussi models use multiple level switches. Locate them under the top cover and note hose and connector positions.
- Check hoses and switches: Inspect hoses for blockage or splits. Test each switch with a multimeter while gently blowing into the pressure port to confirm proper contact change at expected pressures.
- Replace faulty switch: If a switch does not change state or is stuck, replace it with the correct Zanussi dual-level or single-level pressure switch.
- Inspect wiring: Verify continuity of wires between switches and the control board, repairing any breaks.
If E33 remains after these steps, the main control board may be misinterpreting the level signals and should be replaced by a technician.
