Possible Causes
Stuck safety level contact in pressure switch, Blocked pressure hose causing false high level, Faulty pressure switch, Control board input fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and ensure it is fully drained.
- Release trapped pressure: Remove the pressure hose from the switch and blow through it to clear any trapped water or detergent. Refit securely.
- Test switch contacts: Use a multimeter to verify that the safety level contact is open when the drum is empty. If it remains closed, replace the pressure switch.
- Check for overfill signs: Inspect the tub and hoses for evidence of previous overfilling or siphoning, which can leave water in the pressure system.
If E34 persists with a new switch and clear hose, the main PCB may be faulty and should be checked by a professional.
