How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Immediately unplug the washer and close the water taps to stop filling. Mop up any spilled water.

Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover and check that the hose from the tub to the pressure sensor is firmly attached and not split. Replace if damaged.
Clear blockage: Detach the hose at the tub and clean the air chamber connection of sludge or limescale. Rinse the hose thoroughly.
Test inlet valve: With the machine unplugged and water taps open, check if water continues to flow into the drum. If so, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
Replace pressure sensor: If the hose and valve are fine, fit a new pressure sensor compatible with your Zanussi model.

If E35 recurs, the main control board may be failing to shut off the valve and should be inspected by a technician.

Washer overfills with water, may leak from door, and displays E35.
