Possible Causes
Blocked or detached pressure hose, Faulty pressure sensor stuck at low level, Stuck-open water inlet valve, Control board not closing valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately unplug the washer and close the water taps to stop filling. Mop up any spilled water.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover and check that the hose from the tub to the pressure sensor is firmly attached and not split. Replace if damaged.
- Clear blockage: Detach the hose at the tub and clean the air chamber connection of sludge or limescale. Rinse the hose thoroughly.
- Test inlet valve: With the machine unplugged and water taps open, check if water continues to flow into the drum. If so, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
- Replace pressure sensor: If the hose and valve are fine, fit a new pressure sensor compatible with your Zanussi model.
If E35 recurs, the main control board may be failing to shut off the valve and should be inspected by a technician.
