Washer intermittently reports door status errors (E44) despite the door appearing to function normally.

Safety: Disconnect power before accessing the door lock.

• Reseat connector: Remove the door seal band, access the lock, and unplug/replug the connector several times to clean contacts.
• Replace door lock: If E44 recurs, fit a new door lock assembly, as intermittent internal switch faults are common.
• Check for excessive vibration: Ensure the machine is level and not shaking excessively, which can aggravate marginal contacts.

If a new lock does not cure E44, the main PCB may have a faulty input circuit and should be replaced by a technician.
