Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Broken sensor wiring, Loose connector at heater housing, Faulty PCB analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and ensure no hot water remains.
- Locate NTC: The sensor is usually mounted in the heater bracket on the tub. Disconnect its plug.
- Measure resistance: Check the NTC with a multimeter. Infinite or near-zero resistance indicates failure; replace the sensor.
- Inspect wiring: Repair any damaged wires between the NTC and PCB.
If a new NTC and good wiring do not clear E70, the control board is likely defective.
