• Clean pump filter: Open the filter cover, drain residual water, and remove debris from the filter and pump cavity.
• Flush drain hose: Detach the hose from the standpipe and flush it with water to clear any buildup.
• Check hose installation: Ensure the drain hose is at the correct height (usually 65–100 cm) and not inserted too far into the standpipe, which can cause siphoning.
• Test pump: If drainage remains weak, the pump impeller may be worn and the pump should be replaced.
